Happy August from Cornwall

As the first of August appears I take a quick look back on July and what a wonderful month. Looking out the window now the sky is pretty grey and the forecast for today isn't brilliant but fingers and sandy toes are truly crossed that the sun comes back soon.

July for me has been full of sand, sun and sea, here's a round up below of the places enjoyed in July. Here's a small summers swell at Watergate Bay early in the morning before the crowds arrive.

Below is Fistral beach looking stunning on a hot summers day with crowds enjoying the warm water and many in the water without the need for wetsuits as the water hits a 7 year temperature high of 20'C

One of my favourite times in July was cycling the camel trail from Padstow all the way to Bodmin and back, a round trip of 28 miles on a hot summers day with a cheeky pint in the middle.

A night was spent camped up in St Agnes and enjoying beach BBQ's, sunsets and Cider, here I am at Trevaunance cove enjoying the last of the evening sunshine.

Catching the last of the sunshine in Padstow. Lets hope that August is as gorgeous warm and sunny as July as when in Cornwall there is know where better to spend the summer.
